for those who are interested in knowing, unfortunately the lady hornets lost to willis last night so they are not going to the playoffs. it was a very exciting end though. the final score was 4 to 3.

Both Soph. and JV won by run rule tonight. Both where good games on the Huntsville side. Soph won 21-3 and JV won 12-2.

Keep up the good play and have fun Thurs. night against Brenham.

Big thanks to all the parents and players who came out and helped this weekend. A special thanks go out to the Goolsby's. Jane worked endlessly both days in the concession stand and Allen made sure the boys took care of the fields and whatever else I needed done. For those of you interested it looks like we cleared around 10,000. I will have exact figures at the booster club meeting next week.

I would like top thank Cary Jackson and everyone who helped with the tournament this past weekend. I believe it to be a big succcess. I would also like to invite everyone to the booster club meeting Monday, April 13th at 6:30 pm to discuss the banquet preperations and board members for next year. We still need someone to take over short concession stand season.

The sophomore team pulled out a close victory over Willis, 4-3, behind great pitching from Danny Murray and Dickson Wharton!
